You may not know it, but Google gives all web pages a rating out of 10. This rating is based on various factors relevant to SEO (Search engine optimisation) and the general relevancy of a site to the keywords associated with it. What this means is that your 'out of 10' rating will give a good indication of how well optimised your site is in the eyes of Google, and an insight into where you are in their rankings.
This is How Google Describe PageRank:
"PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important"." http://www.google.com/technology/

Once you have done this, visit any website and you should see the green bar in the toolbar change to reflect that sites score.
